CodeCharter pricing plans and what each tier includes

The CodeCharter pricing tiers by team size, what each includes, and how to purchase, upgrade, or renew a subscription.

CodeCharter is licensed per organization, billed yearly or monthly. You choose the tier that fits your team size and stay on it until you cross the seat threshold. See What counts as a developer seat for the exact definition.

Pricing

Plan Team size Yearly Monthly
Starter up to 5 devs €599 €59.90
Team up to 10 devs €1,090 €109.90

All prices exclusive of VAT, invoiced by Bochmann Software GmbH in Germany. Yearly plans are paid annually upfront, monthly plans are billed per month; you pick the billing cycle in the portal checkout. Enterprise includes a bespoke seat count, a custom SLA, on-prem deployment on request, and priority support.

Support

Community support is included in all plans. Email support on business days is included from the Team plan upward, Business adds a priority response time, and Enterprise comes with an SLA per contract.

Trial

Every new account automatically gets a 7-day trial with full access. No credit card, no automatic renewal. More at Trial.

Purchasing now

Starter, Team, and Business can be purchased via self-service. Every account belongs to an organization, and the subscription is bought for that organization by a member with billing permissions (typically its owner). Sign in to the portal and subscribe under your organization's Settings → Billing page (/orgs/{your-org}/settings/billing) via the Stripe Checkout page. The step-by-step flow, payment methods, and VAT handling are described under Payment and billing. Enterprise licensing is arranged by email: support@codecharter.tools.

Upgrade and plan change

When your team grows, a member with billing permissions switches to a larger plan directly on the organization's billing page: pick the new plan and confirm the switch. Upgrades take effect immediately, and Stripe prorates the difference for the remainder of the period. Switching to a smaller plan works the same way, with one limit: you cannot downgrade below the number of members your organization currently has (see What counts as a developer seat). The downgrade takes effect at the end of the current period without proration, and you can revert it until then.

Renewal and cancellation

Self-service subscriptions renew automatically via Stripe at the end of each billing period — yearly or monthly, depending on the cycle you chose. You can cancel at any time via the "Manage payment method, invoices, cancel" button on the organization's billing page — access remains active until the end of the period, after which it ends normally. Details at Payment and billing and Cancellation.
