Forgotten your password? No problem — the reset works via an emailed link.
Starting a reset
- On /Account/Login click "Forgot password?"
- Enter your email address (the one your account is registered with)
- Click "Send reset link"
This sends you an email with a time-limited link.
Checking your inbox
Look in your inbox. If nothing arrives:
- Check the spam folder. The sender is
[email protected]. - Make sure the address is correct. For security reasons we do not reveal whether an address is registered at all — you always see the same confirmation ("If the address belongs to an account, a reset email has just gone out"), even if the address is unknown to us. This prevents email enumeration.
- Account not yet confirmed? The reset only works for confirmed accounts. If you have never signed in, click the original confirmation link from the registration email first, or request a new one (see Registration and Trial).
Setting a new password
The link in the email leads to a page with a single field:
- New password, at least 12 characters, mixed case, one digit. A special character is allowed but not required.
If the new password does not meet these requirements, the page shows an error and you can try again.
Click "Save password". You land directly on the login page, which confirms the change with a banner, and can sign in with the new password.
Link validity
The reset link is valid for 24 hours. If you click too late, the page shows an error with a direct link to request a new reset; you can also use the "Forgot password?" link on /Account/Login again. Requesting a new link does not invalidate earlier ones — they remain usable until they expire or until a reset succeeds.
What does not work
- Using the same link more than once. After a successful reset the link is consumed.
- Resetting to a different address. You cannot change your email address via the reset link, only your password. Changing your email is done on the profile page and requires an active login.
If the email address itself is no longer accessible
If you no longer have access to the original email address (former employer, closed mail account, etc.): write to us at [email protected]. We review it manually and can update the address if identity can be plausibly established.
